The leaves are rapidly changing all over Minnesota; soon, Fall will come to an end and the snow will start falling.
Peak color changes are right around the corner for many areas – take a drive this weekend to see some of the best colors in the state and catch some fall-fresh air!
According the the Minnesota DNR website, heading over to the St. Croix River this weekend would be an ideal choice. Stop at Wild River State Park to take a hike and admire the gold, orange and red leaves before they’ve fallen to the ground or head up to the popular Taylors Falls for unique shops and more beautiful scenery.
Another great stop would be to head west to Big Stone Lake State Park in Ortonville. The lake setting at this stop will provide tranquil and picturesque backgrounds for those looking for a quieter location.
